Farm Fest promises fun and funds for the Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead!
Join us June 1, 2008 (No rain date) from 4 to 8 p.m. as the park becomes a wonderland of exclusive kid-friendly entertainment.
At FarmFest, you can:
- Take in the live sights and sounds of Radio Disney, Dino O'Dell & the Veloci-Rappers, Wonderscope, and the Operation Breakthrough Drumming & Dancing Troupe
- Hop on a hayride
- Bounce in a Moonwalk
- Play games
- Make crafts
- Savor a buffet of kid-friendly fare
- Dig for dinosaurs
- Bottle feed baby goats
- Fish at the pond
- Mine for precious gems or
- Party on the playground
As many as 2,000 people attend FarmFest from across the Kansas City area.
Tickets are $15 if purchased in advance; $20 the day of the event.
Children 2 and under are free. Discounts are available for groups of 15 or more.
Tickets can be purchased at the Farmstead, 138th and Switzer; the Jewish Community Center, 5801 W. 115th St., or online through Operation Breakthrough. Proceeds benefit these three organizations.
The Farmstead will be closed to anyone without a ticket during the event.
