The
city presents a unique gallery space for six art exhibitions each year at
the Overland Park Convention Center, 6000 College Blvd.
Art at the Center is located on the lower level between the OP Convention Center and the Sheraton Hotel.
Subject-specific shows will be featured in a series of year round displays.
The current exhibit is The 2008 Human Form Exhibition. This exhibit will run through October 13. For specific gallery times, contact the OP Convention Center, 913/339-3000.
Admission to Art at the Center is free.
2008 Exhibition Schedule:
- Aug. 5 - Oct. 12: The Human Form Exhibition (Friends of the Arts selection)
- Oct. 14 - Nov. 30: The Abstracts Exhibition (Friends of the Arts selection)
- Dec. 2 - January, 2009: The Future of Art Exhibition, featuring art from students in our public high schools.

- The Juried Exhibition with Guest Juror Dr. Patricia McDonnell

How to enter the 2008 exhibitions
Docent Tours: If your group would like a tour
of the city's permanent art collection housed at the OP Convention Center
and Art at the Center, contact Julie Bilyea at 913/344-8656. Tours generally take between 45 minutes
and an hour.
