
If you are a registered voter in Johnson County as of Dec. 30, you will automatically receive a ballot in the mail.
NOTE: If you register between Dec. 31 and Jan. 14, you need to contact the Johnson County Election Office to receive your ballot.
The Johnson County Election Office will mail ballots to voters who registered on or before Dec. 30.

Election Day
Mail-in ballot must be received by the Johnson County Election Office no later than noon. Ballots received after noon will not be accepted, whether mailed or presented in person.
Completed Ballots
Voters can return ballots to the Election Office as soon as they receive them. The Election Office must receive ballots by noon Tuesday, Jan. 29, so they should be mailed during the week of Jan. 21.
Unofficial results will be tabulated and released on Jan. 29. Results will be official after canvassing the following Friday.
