THIS PROJECT IS FINISHED

119th Street was reconstructed and widened from U.S. Highway 69 east to Riley.

The $6.9 million project included adding an additional lane of traffic for each direction, a raised median, additional left and right turn lanes at required locations, new streetlights and improvements to traffic signals.

Adopted as part of the Capital Improvements Program in August 2004, this project will improve traffic safety and reduce traffic congestion along 119th Street, from U.S. 69 to Nall Avenue.

This project completes the widening of 119th Street all the way to U.S. 69.
