License fees:
- $6 for spayed/neutered animals
- $10 for male/female animals
All dogs and cats 6 months of age or older must be licensed.
To obtain a license, animals must have an unexpired rabies vaccination at the time of licensing. Residents are responsible for ensuring that vaccinations do not expire during the license year.
The license year is Jan. 1 through Dec. 31. Residents have until June 30 to license each pet without incurring a penalty per animal. For each pet licensed on or after July 1, you will be charged a $20 penalty in addition to the license fee.
There are special permit requirements for pet owners who have more than two dogs or more than two cats and for those who own pets considered dangerous animals.
