Group Fitness/Aerobics ProgramS - MRCC/TRCC
Achieve wellness, increase your energy and reduce stress by participating in one of our popular and successful aerobics programs.
Our knowledgeable and friendly, certified instructors teach a diverse range of
programs for all abilities and fitness levels at both community centers: Matt Ross and Tomahawk Ridge.
Classes, which generally are 60 minutes long, offer flexibility and fit neatly into your schedule.
Programs are ongoing, so you can join anytime.
Member/Non-member Fee
Because group fitness and aerobics programs are not included in your membership fees, non-members can join any of the fitness and aerobics programs. 
Class fees allow patrons unlimited classes from one month to one year, depending on the pass purchased:
- 1 month pass - $30
- 3 month pass - $75
- 6 month pass - $125
- 1 year pass - $225
- Drop-in pass - $5
- Drop-in (senior rate) pass - $4
Drop-in classes allow participants to take a single class rather than purchasing a membership for unlimited classes over a set period of time. Drop-in fees also allow patrons with memberships to bring a guest.

Bodyshaper
A muscle conditioning and sculpting class. Tone and strengthen your body and
bones using free weights, resistance tubing, body bars and more. It's like
personal training in a group setting. Appropriate for all levels of fitness.

Enjoy the blend of dancing, aerobics and choreography. High/low aerobics and some step is taught. Its so much fun

Low Impact
Class incorporates low-impact aerobic moves, some dance-y, in a work-outstyle format. A toning segment follows the cardio portion.

Barbell Body
Take barbell exercises traditionally done in a weight room, add motivating music, an instructor to cue and spot your workout, and your strength training program will go to a new level! Effective and fun.

Bosu Sculpt
Use a Bosu Balance Trainer with and without dumbbells to condition your core as well as your other muscles at the same time. Exercises traditionally done on the floor challenge your entire body when done on the Bosu.

Dancing Sneakers
This class incorporates choreographed dance movement in a workout style format.
A variety of dance styles are taught using a variety of music, including swing

Zumba/Zumba Lite
A mixture of sculpting movements with easy-to-follow dance steps, Zumba combines high energy and music with unique dance moves that allow participants to dance away their worries. Zumba is a fusion of Latin and international music, and the workout is fun and easy to do. Zumba is great for the body and the mind.

Cycle
A cardiovascular endurance class done on a stationary bike that requires no impact, relaxes the mind, requires no special skills and burns lots and lots of calories! Fun interaction between instructor and participants, too.

Precise movements emphasis stabilization and strengthening of the back and abdominal muscles. Pilates can help you develop long, strong muscles, a flat stomach, strong back and improved posture. Appropriate for all fitness levels.

Aqua Aerobics (Lap Pool)
Experience the aerobic and strength benefits of exercise without the impact of land aerobics. Increase your cardiovascular endurance, condition your muscles and have fun in this moderate to high intensity workout. “Water toys” include noodles, kickboards, resist-a-bells. Water shoes recommended.

Joints in Motion (Recreational Pool)
This class focuses on creating stability, increasing range of motion, enhancing flexibility to assist you in getting through life more comfortably. An ideal class for those beginning in a water program and will benefit those who have arthritis, fibromyalgia, back/knee pain or are pregnant. Water walking in Lazy River current may be included.
