The Overland Park Community Center is closed.

All programs originally at OPCC are now at the Matt Ross Community Center, 8101 Marty.

The existing OPCC building at 87th and Lamar is being demolished, and the site will be converted into Osage Park.

Staff have created a conceptual plan (below) based on what will be in the park, such as a playground, park shelter, perimeter walking path, landscaping and some open play areas similar to those of other neighborhood parks.

Crews will begin working on these items later this summer, early fall.

A paper copy of the conceptual plan is available in the Planning and Development Services Department on the second floor of City Hall, 8500 Santa Fe Drive.
