The
city offers its golf courses to local companies to acquire
blocks of starting times to be used to form company leagues for their internal
competitions.
Forms for corporate leagues are available at either golf course, beginning Feb. 1, 2008.
Eligibility:
The requesting organization must have some type of organized
status. Groups with past experience in the city's corporate league program
are given first opportunity to retain their 2008 starting times. Overland
Park businesses and residents are given second priority.
When:
There are two league sessions. Organizations must commit to 25 weeks in the
spring/summer session, six weeks in the fall session, or both. The fall
session starting times are limited and will be allocated using eligibility
requirements.
- Spring/summer session: March 10-Aug. 29, 2008
- Fall session: Sept. 2-Oct. 7, 2008
Fees:
Leagues will be charged the Twilight rate.
NOTE: Monday-Thursday during nine-hole only times at St. Andrews and during the 3rd wave at Overland Park, the Twilight rate is in effect. Players are only guaranteed nine holes. The second nine is on a space available basis only.
