Junior 9-hole summer League at OP Golf Club

This new 9-Hole program promotes junior golf participation at the Overland Park Golf Club by incorporating The First Tee of Greater Kansas City instruction with actual league play.

This program will mix four lessons and four supervised rounds of golf for 9-Holes.

The lesson program consists of actual golf improvement instruction plus it exposes the junior to the First Tee Life Skills™ that will promote character development and life enhancing values through the game of golf, emphasizing the following nine Core Values™: honesty, integrity, sportsmanship, respect, confidence, responsibility, perseverance, courtesy and judgment.

These Life Skills™ serve as the criteria for the advancement and certification within the program.

The supervised rounds of golf will allow the junior to take the new skills from the lesson tee to the course. Strategy and course management are emphasized during play.

Pairings participants must possess basic golf skills and proper etiquette.
