The Elmhurst Community is unique because it has more duplexes than single-family units and has a significant level of rental properties. Renter participation in neighborhood activities is limited. Therefore, one of the group’s primary goals is to create opportunities for renters to be involved in neighborhood activities. Plans include sponsoring activities that would interest a variety of residents.
