Overland Park is accepting Christmas trees to be transformed into mulch
for use in our city parks.
When? Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2007 to Sunday, Jan. 13, 2008.
Cost? Free

Parking lots at:
- Young's Park, 77th Street and Antioch (map)
- Indian Creek Recreation Center, 103rd and Marty (just west of Metcalf, map)
- Quivira Park, 119th and Quivira (map)
- Arboretum and Botanical Gardens, 179th Street and Antioch (map)
Why recycle your tree?
To give it a second life as mulch in our city parks.
How can you recycle your tree?
- Remove lights, tinsel, ornaments, presents and the stand.
- Bring it to one of the parks listed above.
- Drop your tree off in the marked area.
- Drive home happy.
