The city has two recycling drop off centers:
- 11921 Hardy
- 80th and Metcalf (behind O'Neill Honda)
The 80th Street location will be open until Dec. 31, 2008. It will be operated by Community Living Opportunities.
Overland Park is talking with other northeast Johnson County cities about a joint drop off facility after the CLO site closes in December.
