How to Request Repairs to Pavement

Pavement repairsThe city maintains almost 1,700 lane miles of street pavement. Routine maintenance of the streets reduces the number of repairs required.

Scheduled maintenance programs are based on street condition using an automated pavement management program. Other repairs are made based on reports of problems from residents.

Potholes can be reported by contacting 913/895-5010 or by emailing potholes@opkansas.org. Include your name and phone number for our records.

Other pavement problems can be reported in two ways:

  1. E-mail potholes@opkansas.org with a description of the problem, location and any other pertinent information. Include your name and home phone number for our records.
  2. Call our Maintenance Division from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, 913/327-6650.
