City Council Action Summary - Feb. 12, 2007
  1. Adopted the 2008-2012 Capital Improvements Program for budget planning purposes.

  2. Approved the following Consent Agenda Items:

    PUBLIC WORKS
    Staff Items:

    1. Resolution No. 3572 – Declaring it necessary to appropriate private property for the use of the City for the improvement of a major traffic street at 132nd Street from 120 feet west of the existing west right-of-way line of U.S. Highway 69 to the centerline of Foster in the City;
    2. Ordinance No. CON- 2653 – Authorizing and providing for the acquisition of lands or interests therein by condemnation for the improvement of a major traffic street at 132nd Street from 120 feet west of the existing west right-of-way line of U.S. Highway 69 to the centerline of Foster in the City;

    FINANCE, ADMINISTRATION AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

    Staff Items:

    1. Application for Renewal of Massage Therapy and In-Office Massage Therapy License – Kneaded Renewal Therapeutic Massage Services, 7050 W. 107th Street, Susan G. Morgner, applicant.
  3. Approved a bid tabulation, “Bid B” from American Equipment Company in the amount of $229,146 for Completed Assembly of Three (3) Single Axle Snowplow Dump Trucks.

  4. Approved Change Order No. 2 for McCowanGordon Construction, L.L.C. for the Overland Park Remodel Projects (Antioch Justice Center, Sanders Justice Center and Tomahawk Ridge Community Center) and the Municipal Court Security Building Addition in an additional amount of $101,486.

  5. Approved Amendment No. 1 to Agreement with the City of Olathe, City of Lenexa and Board of County Commissioners of Johnson County for Phase Two of the Wireless Broadband Cooperation Agreement.
