  2. Announced a Special Community Development (CD) meeting would be held before the December 12, 2005, City Council meeting for the purpose of canceling the December CD meeting.

  3. Approved a facility usage agreement between the City of Overland Park and the Overland Park Historical Society to allow the use of the Carriage House in Santa Fe Commons Park from January 1, 2006, to December 31, 2010. This is a renewal of an existing five-year agreement, which terminates December 31, 2005.

  4. Announced the new location of the new Overland Park Police Dispatch Communications Center and Command and Control Facility.

  5. Introduced the new Public Works Manager of Maintenance Operations, Darryl Fourte.

  6. Approved the 2006 Annual Calendar of Meetings including a meeting time change for the Public Works Committee from 7:30 p.m. to 7p.m.

  7. Approved Resolution No. 3494 – Consenting to the sublease by Sprint/United Management Company of a portion of the Sprint Headquarters to LTD Management Company.

  8. Approved the following Planning Commission Consent Agenda Items as stipulated:
    1. A special event permit to allow multiple banners on the Sprint Campus located at 6200 Sprint Parkway in conjunction with a name change from November 11, 2005, to April 1, 2006;
    2. Acceptance of Right-of-Way – Final Plat No. 2005-84 – Carriage Woods, in the vicinity of the northeast corner of 103rd Street and Nall Avenue;
    3. Ordinance No. Z-3169 (Special Use Permit No. 2005-31) located at 10001 West 87th Street, for a three-year period of time to allow a drinking establishment in conjunction with a restaurant; Ordinance No. Z-3170 (Special Use Permit No. 2005-34) to allow a hotel located at 7020 West 133rd Street for an indefinite period of time. Ordinance No. Z-3171 (Special Use Permit No. 2005-35) to allow a sports or recreation facility located at 9401 West 135th Street for an indefinite period of time.

  9. Approved Acceptance of Deed of Dedication requested by the Blue Valley Recreation Commission located at 9401 West 135th Street.

  10. Continued Rezoning No. 2005-19, located in the vicinity of the northwest corner of 167th Street and Quivira Road, to allow a single-family residential development, to the December 12, 2005, City Council meeting. Ordinance No. Z-3167
