- Approved Ordinance
No. CSC-2594 – Amending the Overland Park Municipal Code to include
the rank of Police Lieutenant in the general provisions regarding appointments
and the provisions governing the Civil Service Commission, with one added
amendment as read into the record.
- Accepted bid from Lion Apparel, in
the amount of $1,243 per set, for the 2005-2006 bunker gear as recommended
by staff.
- Accepted low bid from Drake Brothers, Inc., in the amount
of $70,200, for the 2006 Crack Seal Program for Residential Streets.
- Approved
the City’s Self-Funded Health Plan for 2006 with the United
Health Care Insurance Company for the renewal of the City’s health
insurance plan to provide health coverage for the 2006 calendar year;
approved the second renewal amendment to the agreement with the United
Health Care Insurance Company for administrative services for the 2006
calendar year; and approved the Stop Loss Amendment Rider with the
United Health Care Insurance Company for the Stop Loss Policy for the
2006 calendar year.
- Approved the City’s Dental Insurance Program for 2006 with Delta
Dental of Kansas and authorized the execution of the renewal documents
upon receipt by the City.
- Approved the City’s Life Insurance
Plans/Policies for 2006 and 2007 for non-commissioned personnel with
the Standard Insurance Company with a two-year rate guarantee and authorized
the execution of the policy contract documents upon receipt by the
City.
