2. FY 2004 Letter of Understanding for Utility Assistance – Johnson County Department of Human Services and Aging for income-eligible Overland Park citizens, for a $15,000 grant;
3. FY 2004 Letter of Understanding for Human Services Fund – United Community Services of Johnson County, Inc., for a $40,000 grant;

5. Approved Agreement with the City of Leawood for the public improvement of 135th Street from the Leawood/Overland Park city boundary west approximately 250 feet.

Adopted Ordinance No. B-2466 – Authorizing the issuance and delivery of $14,930,000 principal amount of Internal Improvement Bonds, Series 2003A of the City, for the purpose of providing funds to pay the costs of certain improvements; prescribing the form and details of the bonds; and providing for the levy and collection of an annual tax for the purpose of paying the principal of and interest on the bonds as they become due and authorizing the issuance and delivery of not-to-exceed $15,090,000 of said bonds.
   
   
9. Presented Report to the Governing Body No. 03-04, and accepted Addendum Number 1 to the May 21, 2002, Contract for janitorial services with Ace Janitorial, in the amount of $89,568.

Approved the following Planning Commission Consent Agenda item: 1) Special Event Permit No. 2003-507, in the vicinity of the northwest corner of 119th Street and Metcalf, to allow a tent sale in the parking lot of Rosana Square Shopping Center, contingent on a tent permit being obtained from the Overland Park Fire Department.
