- Confirmed investments in the amount of $4,000,000 in certificates of deposit;
- Capital Projects Expenditure Ordinance No. 6A – Outlining the expenditures from the Capital Projects funds for May 29 through June 4, 2003;
- One application for Temporary Cereal Malt Beverage License, as listed on the agenda;

and providing for the acquisition of lands by condemnation for
the construction
of a community center in the vicinity of 81st Street to Hamilton,
and Marty
to Floyd.
- Continued to the December 15, 2003, City Council meeting
further consideration of exclusion of land from the boundaries of the
City – Vicinity
of the northeast corner of 167th Street and Nall (continued
from the March 3, 2003, Council meeting).
- Announced that the
City flags will fly at half-mast from June 10 through June
12, 2003, to mourn the loss of Matt Ross, former City
Council Member.
- Went into executive session to discuss matters subject to the attorney-client privilege relating to the case of Dezube et al. versus the City of Overland Park, et al., now pending in the Johnson County, Kansas, District Court.
