of 135th Street and Riley; and Special Event Permit No. 2003-208,
9270 Metcalf Avenue, to allow racing of remote-controlled, scale
model cars
in the parking lot of Regency Park Shopping Center on Sundays

- Approved Residential Day-Care Permit No. 2003-1, 12301 Wedd Street,
requesting the renewal of a Residential Day-Care Permit for a five-year
period of time, with no stipulations.
- Rejected the Planning Commission’s
motion for denial of Ordinance No. Z-2991 (Special Use Permit No. 2003-10)
and remanded back to the
Planning Commission for consideration of alterations in the plan,
as presented by the City Council, and others that might be suggested by
the Planning Commission.
- Recessed into executive session for a period of time not to exceed 10 minutes to address the issue of the acquisition of real property; then reconvened and adjourned.
