Development Committee that meeting has been changed to Tuesday, April 15,
2003.
- Approved Ordinance No. ST-2429 – Levying a new City Retailers’ Sales
Tax in the amount of one-eighth of one percent (.125%), effective April
1, 2004, the day following the expiration of the existing one-eighth
of one percent (.125%) tax, and ending on March 31, 2009, the new .125%
tax, like the existing .125% tax, to be in addition to the ongoing
1% City Retailers’ Sales Tax.
- Announcement made by Mayor that a memo will be circulated asking for Council Members to indicate their City Council Committee preference, as well as a request for two choices of dates and times when new Council Members will be available for Governing Body retreat or briefing.
