Horse Drawn Wagon Rides
Original Kansas travelers moved about the state on wagons to reach their destinations. You can relive this when you take a ride on a wagon pulled by a team of beautiful Belgian draft horses at the Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead.
The wagon, driven by the Sharp family, takes visitors on a relaxing 10 to 15 minute hayride through the woods on the perimeter of the Farmstead.
Little ones on the ride should keep their eyes open for rabbits, squirrels, deer and even the occasional bobcat.
There is a small fee to ride - $3/person; children under 1 are free.
A combo pack can be purchased for $10 and includes mining, one wagon ride, one pony ride, one bottle of milk for the baby goats and fishing.
