It's free. Yes, that means no tickets. And parking is free.

This family event, Jazz in the Woods, is Friday, June 11, and Saturday, June 12, in Corporate Woods Founders' Park, 9711 W. 109th Street, across from Building 40.

Organized by the Overland Park South Rotary Club, you can hear such musicians as Erin Bode, Mingo Fishtrap, Mindi Abair, Matt Marshak, Bobby Watson Quartet, and Nick Colionne and Steve Cole.

There is open seating so bring a chair or blanket, and your family.

Vendors will be on hand to sell food and drinks. You can bring your own, if you want. Please do not bring barbecue grills.

Indian Creek Parkway will be closed during the event Friday and Saturday evening.
