OP Convention and Visitors Bureau -
services and functions are focused on the promotion and marketing of Overland
Park as a destination for conventions, meetings and tourism. The OPCVB
is a not-for-profit organization funded by the city's hotel guest tax.
OP Convention Center - offers 237,000 square feet of amenities for conferences, exhibitions, meetings, and special events. The City owns the Convention Center, and Global Spectrum manages the day-to-day operations of the facility.
OP Chamber of Commerce - seeks to enhance and sustain the economy and quality of life in Overland Park through economic development and business assistance efforts. The City contracts with the Chamber to provide economic development programs.
OP Downtown Partnership - provides services such as marketing, business assistance, and maintenance to the Business Improvement District of Downtown Overland Park. The City contracts with this not-for-profit organization to administer annual business service fees and an annual grant for the betterment of downtown.
OP Economic Development Council - works to attract, expand, and retain the business base in the City. The OPEDC is a partnership between the City, the OP Chamber of Commerce, and over 65 private business community investors.
